We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive

Maintenance Technician

with an Electrical or Mechanical background to support operations at a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in

Dublin

The ideal candidate will have

at least 3 years' experience in a pharmaceutical environment

and a strong track record of maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of

manufacturing and packaging equipment

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment including powder bottle filling, tableting machines, blending, and granulation systems.

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on both primary and secondary packing equipment.

Support equipment installation, commissioning, and qualification as required.

Maintain accurate maintenance records in compliance with GMP standards.

Collaborate closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and reliability programs.

Provide occasional support to facility maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements

A trade qualification or third-level degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or similar).

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a regulated pharmaceutical or GMP manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of equipment used in solid dose manufacturing and packaging.

Proven problem-solving skills in both electrical and mechanical systems.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Experience in facility systems (e.g., HVAC, water systems) is an advantage.

Familiarity with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo).

Understanding of GMP compliance and regulatory requirements.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
