SAP Project Manager

About the Role We are seeking an experienced SAP Upgrade Project Manager (Site Lead) to join our client's team in Cork on a 12-month daily rate contract. This role will be the business-facing Site Lead for a major SAP S / 4HANA global upgrade, ensuring smooth delivery across planning, testing, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and business readiness. The successful candidate will act as the central point of contact between local business teams and the global program, ensuring alignment and a successful transition to the upgraded system. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations aligned with global milestones. Coordinate between business stakeholders, IT teams, SAP experts, and external vendors. Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies. Ensure compliance with project governance and change control processes. Drive change management, training, and communication strategies to support adoption. Provide regular status updates and executive-level reporting to leadership. Lead site governance forums and manage business readiness activities. Required Experience 10+ years of SAP Project Management experience. Proven track record in SAP / ERP upgrades; S / 4HANA upgrade experience is a strong advantage. Experience working in highly regulated industries (life sciences, pharma, or biotech preferred). Strong leadership across supply chain and manufacturing workstreams. Expertise in project management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, SAP Activate). Excellent stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills. Strong understanding of SAP / ERP methodologies, governance, and testing best practices. What's on Offer 12-month daily rate contract with a leading global organisation.
