Operational Reporting and Insights Lead

Your new role We're seeking a data-driven leader to join our operations team as an Operational Reporting and Insights Lead. In this role, you'll lead a team of four analysts and play a key part in transforming operational data into clear, actionable insights that improve service delivery across the business. You'll be responsible for building dashboards, spotting trends and risks, and helping senior leaders make smarter decisions. This is a hands-on role with strategic impact - ideal for someone who thrives on turning complexity into clarity. Responsibilities Lead a team of 4 in developing performance dashboards and reports. Ensure accurate measurement of operational performance across services. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities using data analytics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and outcomes. Drive "Right First Time" initiatives through data-led insights. Use Power BI and other modern tools to automate and enhance reporting. Support senior leadership with timely, relevant performance insights. A full Job Spec is available. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in performance reporting, analytics, or operational insights. Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills. Power BI skills - essential. Ability to simplify complex data and communicate insights clearly. Experience in utilities, infrastructure, or regulated environments is a plus.
