We are hiring for our client, a highly regarded law firm, seeking an Insurance Solicitor (2-3 years' PQE) to join their Dublin office.
This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor with experience in insurance litigation to work with a market-leading team, handling a broad caseload of high-value and complex matters.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a large firm and exposure to regulatory and transactional work in the insurance sector.

The Role : Advising clients on
insurance-related disputes, regulatory matters, and transactions
, including professional indemnity, public liability, and coverage issues.
Regular dealings with the
Central Bank of Ireland – Insurance Department (or equivalent regulator)
on behalf of (re)insurance clients.
Handling
M&A, portfolio transfers, structured reinsurance
or similar transactional work.
Managing
complex litigation and regulatory investigations
, including High Court proceedings.
Providing
strategic and commercial advice
on risk, compliance, and policy interpretation under
Solvency II
and other regulatory frameworks.
Drafting and reviewing a range of insurance-related agreements and regulatory submissions.
The Person :
Qualified Solicitor in Ireland
with 2-3 years' PQE.
Previous experience in insurance litigation, ideally gained in a top-tier or specialist firm.
Strong technical skills with excellent commercial awareness.
Comprehensive knowledge of Solvency II.
Ability to manage cases independently while working as part of a collaborative team.
Exceptional communication and client management skills.
