Reinsurance Broker

Job Title : Reinsurance Broker Location : Dublin City (4 days a week onsite) Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Reinsurance Broker to join our client, a leading and well-established broker in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance professional with a background in broking or underwriting and a strong technical understanding across property, liability / casualty, energy, specialist lines or reinsurance. This is a client-facing role that will suit someone who enjoys both the technical detail and the commercial side of the industry, including client meetings, relationship management and business development. You will be joining a high-performing team with a strong reputation for delivering bespoke solutions across complex risk portfolios. Your Role Manage and develop a portfolio of reinsurance clients, providing tailored solutions and maintaining long-term relationships Lead or support the placement of reinsurance programmes across various lines, including property, liability, energy and other specialist sectors Liaise closely with underwriters, clients and global reinsurance markets to negotiate terms and structure coverage Attend client meetings and contribute to new business opportunities, proposals and strategic growth initiatives Support the ongoing development of internal processes, placement documentation and technical delivery standards Maintain accurate records, submissions and reports in line with compliance and regulatory requirements Collaborate with colleagues across other lines and teams on complex or multinational placements Your Skills Minimum 5 years' experience in a reinsurance, broking or underwriting environment Strong technical knowledge of at least one of : property, casualty, energy, specialist lines or treaty / facultative reinsurance Proven experience engaging with clients and building strong relationships Commercially minded with the ability to contribute to business development activities Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills Strong attention to detail and understanding of placement documentation Comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative and client-focused environment Should this position be of interest to you please call Tadhg at .
