About the Role An established player in the nutrition industry is seeking a Procurement Officer to join its Cork-based team. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring the cost-effective and reliable sourcing of raw materials and packaging. If you're experienced in procurement or supply chain management and want to make a tangible impact in a dynamic production environment, this role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute strategically while working part-time. Key Responsibilities Source and purchase raw materials and packaging in line with quality, cost, and delivery standards. Evaluate and manage supplier performance to ensure best value and supply reliability. Identify and qualify new suppliers to strengthen supply resilience and mitigate risk. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and credit terms in alignment with company policy. Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and Planning teams to align procurement with production schedules and standards. Contribute to long-term procurement strategies and provide insights on market trends and opportunities for cost optimisation. About You Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management (experience in feed, food, or agri-sector an advantage). Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; confident with data analysis and reporting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
