EHS Advisor

EHS Advisor We are currently recruiting for an EHS Advisor for a leading Irish Tier 1 contractor. You will work closely with project teams to implement and maintain EHS Management Systems, drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements. This role will be based in Cork and it will include site visits. Responsibilities : Provide expert EHS advice, guidance and training. Lead by example, promoting a positive safety culture at all times. Develop, review and maintain project-specific EHS Plans, RAMS and related documents. Conduct audits, inspections and incident investigations. Identify training needs, deliver sessions and maintain accurate training records. Monitor and report on EHS KPIs, trends and risks, recommending improvements. Ensure full compliance with legislation, standards, and company procedures. Support the prevention of incidents through proactive hazard identification and risk management. Represent EHS at site, regional and client meetings. Requirements : 3+ years EHS experience in construction or similar industry (electrical, mechanical, CSA preferred). Diploma (NFQ 8) in Occupational H&S and Certificate (NFQ 6) in Environmental Management. Relevant certifications : Safe Pass, CSCS, Train the Trainer, First Aid, ISO14000 & ISO45000 internal auditor. Solid knowledge of Construction Regulations, CDM roles and EHS Management Systems. Strong communication skills - written, verbal and presentation. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and deliver high quality EHS reports. Member of IOSH or equivalent professional body.
