Mechanical Engineer 12878 Mechanical Design Engineer is needed to join a well-established and progressive engineering mechanical and electrical consultancy in their Dublin office. This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful Mechanical Design Engineerto lead a team of passionate and experienced engineers. Responsibilities : Oversee and deliver comprehensive Mechanical Design for projects of all sizes, ensuring exceptional client care. Ensure quality control for Mechanical Engineering projects across all offices. Manage project budgets and cost control effectively. Lead project teams and cross-functional teams within the organization. Represent EDC at client meetings, site visits, surveys, and training as required. Coordinate and collaborate with other EDC offices on relevant matters. Requirements : Experience in delivering detailed designs throughout the full design cycle. Expertise in Mechanical design areas : Water Services, HVAC, Heating / LTHW, Fuel, drainage, and BMS. Skilled in managing projects, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining efficient work plans. Strong leadership in internal / external project management, ensuring client satisfaction, profitability, and upholding EDCs reputation for repeat business. Understanding of multidisciplinary building design and installation, with excellent attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and commercial awareness.
