Details of Service

Leopardstown Park Hospital is a registered centre for the provision of services to older people, it provides Day services and Long-Term Care, situated in South Co. Dublin. It was established in 1917 and continues to provide interdisciplinary services on a seven-day, twenty-four-hour basis .

It is currently registered for 120 long stay beds.

Salary Scale for Position €35,786 to €48,427 LSI

Purpose of the post

The Supplies Officer D works as part of a team to assist in the provision of stores / supplies and purchasing services. As directed, The Supplies Officer D supports the provision of a high-quality customer focused service. This position involves handling goods inwards, the preparation and delivery of supplies to multiple locations throughout the day and raising requisitions for stock replenishment. This is a hybrid of warehouse based and a desk based position.

Essential Criteria

Qualifications :

Leaving certificate or equivalent qualification

or

Hold a comparable and relevant third level qualification of at least level 5 on the National Qualifications Framework maintained by Qualifications and Quality Ireland, (QQI).

or

Satisfactory relevant experience which encompasses demonstrable

equivalent skills

Desirable - 3rd Level certification in Supply Chain discipline

Min 2 years' relevant experience working in a warehouse / Purchasing / Stores environment, using a computerized stock system.

Desirable - Proven experience of working in a Supply Chain function in a Healthcare Setting

Knowledge of Hospital setting
