About the Company

Working with an increasingly busy Fit Out Contractor who specialise in high end internal fit out for prestige clients in the Dublin region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Site Manager or Junior Project Manager with experience managing commercial fit out projects in Dublin with emphasis on office / life science fitout.

My client is looking for someone who is comfortable working across Greater Dublin but most work would be in the city.

Fantastic opportunity for someone to come in and progress into a senior position within the company overseeing a diverse portfolio of works.

The Role

Coordinate and monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.

Modify and update the project programme with senior management to ensure key milestones are met.

Liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.

Report to the Contracts Manager.

Direct and Manage personnel, site staff and subcontractors and manage and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops and plan actions.

Overcome any issues that may arise during the construction phase in a timely and efficient manner.

Ensure that H&S and Company Compliance procedures are adhered to.

Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate and liaise with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers and Service Coordinators to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information.

Requirements

Degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.

A minimum of 2-3 years' experience managing commercial fit out projects with a main contractor or specialist contractor in Dublin.

Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.

Experience managing multiple subcontractors at a time.

Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project / PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
