IT Vendor Manager / Service Delivery Manager Our clients are an Environmental Consultancy who are currently looking to recruit for a new and interesting role within their organisation. The firm manage IT / Mechanical equipment on client sites around Ireland. This role will be based in their Dublin 22 office, on a hybrid basis with 3 days a week in the office. The IT Operations Vendor Manager will join a dynamic IT team on a 12-month contract, with a view to a longer contract, to oversee critical vendor relationships and support the delivery and maintenance of technology services across the network of client sites. The Role : Operating within an outsourced Service Integration and Management (SIAM) model, this role demands strong vendor management skills with a focus on proactive service delivery across a distributed device network. You will be the single point of accountability for managing multiple external IT service providers, enforcing service-level agreements (SLAs), leading service reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement driving continuous improvement initiatives to maximize IT uptime and ensure a reliable and seamless user experience across the entire network. Manage day-to-day relationships with IT service providers, software vendors, and managed service partners. Monitor performance against SLAs and KPIs, ensuring timely resolution of issues. Lead vendor review meetings and performance assessments. Support contract negotiation, renewals, and compliance checks. Escalate and follow up on service incidents and problems with vendors. Ensure vendors comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, GDPR). Support audits and due diligence processes related to third-party services. The Role : Qualifications in IT or Engineering ideal Proven experience in IT Vendor Management, Service Delivery, or IT Operations roles. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple vendor relationships and contracts simultaneously. Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach. Experience working within an environmentally conscious or regulated industry is a plus. Industry experience in a sector reliant on distributed devices (ie. Managing equipment on customer sites) an advantage.
