Catering Assistant Tipperary

The School Food Company has been in operation since 2011 and provides healthy lunch options for both Primary and Secondary school students. Our menu is prepared fresh onsite every day.

We are currently recruiting for a part time catering assistant in Scoil Ruain, Killenaule, Co.Tipperary

Our employees are welcomed as part of the school community. Our employees are off at the break periods : midterms, Christmas, Easter and summer (unpaid). This may appeal to people with school going children. We do not offer set working days, flexibility in working days is essential. This position may not be suitable to people in part time education. The position is also subject to Garda Vetting.

The position of  part time Catering Assistant   is approx 12 -16 hours per week, operating on a 2 day / 3 day rotation.

Shift time approx 8.00am -2.30pm. Half day Friday approx 12pm finish.

The roles involve the preparation of a variety of rolls, wraps, ciabattas, pasta & rice dishes. Service of small break, lunch and clean down. It is a very fast paced and busy working environment.

Previous catering experience, knowledge of HACCP an advantage.
