As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit an Insurance Solicitor to join our Global Specialty and Financial Risks team.

Responsibilities

To act on behalf of international insurers in the defence of claims brought against their insured clients.

Primarily handle Professional Negligence and Financial Lines claims.

Support on high-value disputes in the High Court and Commercial Court, as required.

What will help you succeed in this role?

We are seeking candidates with a background in insurance litigation.

However, individuals with general litigation experience who demonstrate a strong interest in developing expertise in insurance law will also be considered.

The successful candidate will :

Hold the relevant qualifications and demonstrate strong technical legal skills, including a comprehensive understanding of legal principles, case law, and relevant subject matter.

Exhibit a high level of professionalism and take pride in the quality and accuracy of their work.

Be a collaborative team player, contributing positively to team dynamics.

Show meticulous attention to detail and a thorough approach to legal work.

Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
