Our client, a leading global healthcare company in Sligo, is keen to hire a
Service Centre Technician
to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.
The
Service Centre Technician
will work the
Weekday | Day Shift
Responsibilities
Perform assigned duties under the guidance of Team / Unit / Shift Leader / Manager
Execute operations in the service centre and warehouse, including cleaning and autoclaving equipment, managing inventory, and completing computer applications
Ensure compliance with all documentation and Good Manufacturing requirements
Train new employees and adhere to relevant operating procedures
Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and assist in purchasing non-inventory materials
Participate in project work such as product transfers, characterisation, and validation of facilities, equipment, or processes
Ensure adherence to environmental procedures and seek opportunities for improvement
Ideal background
Minimum Leaving Certificate or equivalent, or 7 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
Previous experience in manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
Accountability for proper procedure adherence to prevent financial losses, customer complaints, and product recalls.
Authority to carry out duties with minimal supervision
Formal goals and performance reviews conducted annually
