Site Administrator

On behalf of our client, a well-established company in the engineering sector, I am recruiting a Site Administrator for their Cork office.

This is a permanent role with excellent opportunities for career development and progression.

The role will best suit an experienced administrator who has worked in a construction, engineering, or industrial environment and is confident handling large volumes of data, documentation, and supplier coordination.

Experience supporting procurement or purchasing functions will be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the procurement and site teams, raising purchase orders and managing requisitions.

Assist in sourcing and purchasing construction materials, tools, and services.

Manage supplier enquiries, quotations, and cost analysis.

Maintain accurate supplier records, contracts, and compliance documentation.

Track procurement costs and prepare reports on savings opportunities.

Coordinate deliveries and manage stock levels to avoid project delays.

Liaise closely with project managers and site teams to ensure materials are available on time.

Ensure all site administration complies with company and industry standards.

The Ideal Candidate Administration or coordination experience within construction, engineering, or related sectors.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of data, orders, and documentation.

Strong MS Excel and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication skills, with proven experience liaising with suppliers and project teams.

Proactive, detail-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced project environment.

Previous exposure to procurement or purchasing processes is highly beneficial.
