Sonographer

We are seeking an experienced sonographer to join our team in the Mater Private Cork. Qualifications : CORU registered radiographer with an approved post graduate qualification in ultrasound. CASE accredited post graduate ultrasound program preferred . Experience as a sonographer in an Irish or UK setting preferred. Responsibilities include : Performing a range of ultrasound examinations across abdominal, gynecological, vascular and small parts applications, depending on experience Analysis and interpretation of ultrasound images and provide a provisional report to the radiologist Providing good patient care and maintain patient dignity at all times Managing busy day lists with a mix of outpatient, inpatient and emergency department referrals Vetting and protocolling of ultrasound referrals Communicating effectively with admin staff, radiologists, hospital staff and colleagues A full job description is available on request Skills : Ultrasound Sonography Scanning
