Quality & Complinance Supervisor

Principal Objective of Position The core objective of this position is to ensure that appropriate quality standards of timber arriving at the site are maintained to ensure that the various outlets are supplied with the waste acceptance criteria standards for each facility. Daily checks on incoming loads, sampling & testing of finished products and preparation of samples for independent testing will be required. A key focus is reporting on the incoming loads and working with various facilities to improve the quality arriving on site. The broad remit of responsibilities include Daily analysis of various incoming loads of bulk timber by percentage waste, percentage MDF, Percentage virgin wood, etc. Taking photos & record contaminants, forward images to the site managers for advice and rectification of any errors. Maintain records of incoming loads by facility. Review the quality of virgin biomass loads to ensure that each load is rich in virgin biomass. Take photos & record contaminants, forward images to site managers if errors are found. Maintain records of photos and contaminants, work with sites to ensure Edenderry Powers specification and end of waste procedures are maintained. Agree methodology and take final samples of processed timber to check with waste acceptance criteria of Stobart, Edenderry Power and Eirblock outlets. Agree methodology, take samples and prepare paperwork for independent testing of final biomass product. Work with Thorntons, Panda and third-party facility managers to continuously improve incoming quality. If necessary, meet with site managers to address and resolve issues. Liaise with quality managers in principle biomass outlets to ensure quality standards are achieved and issues are dealt with effectively and efficiently. Arrange monthly reporting and monthly quality issue tracking for the site. Aid Site Manager in terms of compliance, H & S and admin functions when required. Skills Supervisory level experience Proven track record in waste management or construction environment Good Admin and record keeping skills Ability to work closely and influence facility managers Skills : Quality Tester Enviormental Experience Compliance
