Financial Accountant, Retail, Dublin City Centre

Client Profile Our client is a growing retail business looking to expand their finance team.

They are seeking to appoint an ambitious accountant to support in a busy role taking ownership of a particular area of the business.

Role : Financial Accountant The Financial Accountant will provide a wide range of financial information and involvement in growth projects.

Specific areas of responsibility include : Preparation of monthly management accounts and month end close activities Analysis and provision of key information to management Involvement in annual budgeting process Manage year end close and audit process Tax and statutory reporting Oversight of payroll Process and procedure review and improvement including financial systems Support Finance across transformation projects Candidate Profile Qualified Accountant ideally Big4 trained or retail / FMCG experience Excellent analytical skills Results orientated Excellent technical abilities Strong financial acumen and the ability to perform a hands-on role Excellent communication, customer care, and people management skills Excellent planning, organisational, and leadership skills Interested in this position?
