Supply Chain Customs And Compliance Manager

The Job

We are working with a leading FMCG company located in South Dublin to hire a Supply Chain Customs and Compliance Manager, this is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing master data governance, trade compliance, SKU portfolio optimization, and performance reporting across the supply chain function.

This role ensures the integrity and agility of the supply chain in support of commercial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and manage the customs and trade function.

Oversee relationships with customs brokers and regulatory bodies.

Ensure compliance with relevant customs codes and trade agreements.

Stay updated on legislative and regulatory changes.

Coordinate with customs brokers and internal teams to resolve compliance issues.

Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory reporting.

Support the company's Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status.

Lead master data governance across product, supplier, and trade fields.

Ensure data quality for critical supply chain fields.

Develop internal controls and validation checks for data quality.

Drive SKU rationalization efforts.

Partner with various departments to evaluate and remove obsolete SKUs.

Ensure supply chain readiness for new product introductions and discontinuations.

Develop dashboards and reports covering customs performance and trade risk exposure.

Requirements

Certification in customs compliance or international trade.

Professional accreditation in supply chain or operations.

Ambitious individual with a desire to grow into broader supply chain leadership roles.

Strong work ethic and a solutions-oriented mindset.

Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.

Experience in supply chain, planning, procurement, data management, or customs operations.

Strong expertise in customs and trade regulations.

Proficiency in ERP systems and data management.

Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting tools.

Excellent project management and communication skills.
