The Role

As a Scrum Master, you’ll be a part of highly collaborative, cross-functional Scrum teams. You will advise and lead teams on Agile values, practices, and processes to ensure they are fully functional, productive, and focused on Sprint goals.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Strong proficiency and experience with encouraging Agile behaviours, reinforcing practices, norms and routines, and supporting overall Squad performance and efficiency
• Excellent understanding and previous application of Agile / Scrum Fundamentals – WHY and HOW
• Proficient with Agile enabling tools like Jira / Jira Align
• Ability to identify team improvement opportunities and look externally for best practices to support continuous improvement
• Strong proficiency in facilitating and coordinating logistics for Agile routines and practices, e.g., Backlog Refinement, Planning, Daily Scrum, and Retrospectives
• Proficient in ensuring healthy backlogs are maintained and accurately balanced across team members
• Proficient in producing, maintaining, updating, and explaining process metrics and artefacts to ensure understanding of how efficiently and effectively Squads are operating, and accurate and clear communications to Squads and their partners
• Excellent experience partnering with other Scrum Masters and working across multiple Squads contributing to the same initiatives
• Demonstrated experience working in a technology delivery environment
• Bachelor’s degree / undergraduate degree / equivalent experience required
• Scrum certification required (CSM or PSM)
