Senior Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer Salary : € Fully remote My client, a fast-growing software company, are expanding their data engineering team and looking for a Senior Data Engineer who can take ownership of building and optimizing their Azure-based data infrastructure. You will architect, build and maintain data pipelines using Azure whilst designing and implementing ETL / ELT solutions. Requirements : 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience. Deep experience with Microsoft Azure's data ecosystem, including services like Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics and Databricks Proficiency in SQL and Python (or PySpark). Solid understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and performance optimization in cloud environments. Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Terraform, CI / CD) and version control. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally as well as engage with stakeholders Nice to Have : Data warehousing experience using Snowflake Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and consumption. Exposure to ML / AI workflows or data science tooling within Azure.
