Power Platform Consultant

Power Apps & Data Engineering Consultant (Contract) Job Description : Our client, a major organisation within the professional services sector, is seeking a highly experienced consultant with strong expertise in both Power Apps and Data Engineering.

This role is a 6-month fully remote daily rate contract based in Dublin.

Job Responsibilities : Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Power Apps.

Design, implement, and manage data pipelines and transformation workflows.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Ensure data integration across systems through APIs and connectors.

Optimise performance and reliability of Power Apps and related backend systems.

Provide documentation and technical support for deployed applications and data processes.

Engage in solution testing, deployment, and iterative improvement cycles.

Experience Required : Minimum 5 years of experience in application development and data engineering.

Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate.

Strong proficiency in data modelling, ETL processes, and database technologies.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, especially with data services like Azure Data Factory or Synapse.

Desirable Skills : Experience with Power BI for data visualisation.

Understanding of Dev Ops practices and CI / CD pipelines in a cloud environment.

Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Power Shell.

Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Educational Requirements : Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
