Senior Planner (Dusseldorf)

Senior Planner Senior Planner required for one of Irelands largest main contractors on a Data Centre project in Dusseldorf, Germany. The successful candidate will report into the Planning Manager for the project. Duties : Project & Schedule Management Lead planning across a portfolio of projects, preparing and maintaining schedules for all phases (pre-construction, construction, commissioning). Progress Control & Reporting Track progress through databases, reports, milestone projections, delay / float analysis, earned value management, and site audits. Client & Stakeholder Liaison Attend planning / schedule meetings, collaborate with clients, subcontractors, project teams, and ensure clear communication of issues and solutions. Commercial & Contract Support Prepare tender schedules, resource / cash loadings, payment data, and contribute to contract reviews, claims, and dispute resolution. Leadership & Team Development Manage, mentor, and support planning staff, while deputising for Planning or Project Planners / Managers as required. Quality & Compliance Ensure accuracy of schedules, reports, and data, while supporting planning systems and upholding company standards (SOPs, audits, governance). Requirements : Degree in Construction or Engineering related discipline would be beneficial. 7+ years experience in a planning role working on large scale projects. Experience working on a Data Centre project would be beneficial. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office. Ability to work to strict deadlines.
