Product Specialist Brightwater has partnered with a well-known life insurer that are looking to add a product specialist to the team. If you have a life insurance background and some product launch experience this role might be the next step for you in your career. Responsibilities : Assist the Product team in designing and launching innovative life insurance and pension products, overseeing governance from concept to release. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to inform product enhancements. Manage ongoing product performance, handling regulatory submissions, monthly routines, and addressing unexpected client requests. Create and approve customer-facing product materials, ensuring compliance with Irish financial regulations. Proactively address customer risk issues by developing and implementing protective measures across the product lifecycle. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support evolving business needs and occasional additional tasks as assigned. Skills & Experience : Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification, with a preference for APA or QFA certification or a commitment to obtain it. At least 3 years experience in the life insurance sector, with a focus on product oversight. Expertise in managing product lifecycles and navigating Irish financial and consumer protection regulations. Strong ability to interpret market dynamics and translate customer insights into actionable strategies. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, meeting deadlines across multiple projects.
