Who are we looking for?
We are currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our expanding Finance team.
This FP&A role will report to the Group Financial Controller.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced candidate to develop their career in a fast-growing company.
What are the minimum requirements for the role?
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and hold a degree in a related field (business / finance / economics).
A minimum of five years' prior experience in a financial and accounting role.
Experience developing financial reports and metrics.
Experience working with senior management to analyse and report on costs and / or profitability of their business area.
Prior experience in the financial services sector is a distinct advantage.
Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel, and working knowledge of accounting packages, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and Sharepoint.
What is your role and responsibilities?
Support the growth of our business by being an integral part of the Finance team.
Create and improve monthly cost and profitability analyses, partnering with the business to drive results.
Identify and research variances to forecast and budget, proactively seeking opportunities for improvement.
Understand business challenges, propose solutions, and analyze financial data to provide insights.
Deliver high-quality, clear monthly reports to the Carne Global Executive Committee.
Support reporting requirements for corporate FP&A, the board, and external stakeholders.
Understand allocation methodologies for costs based on key drivers for support departments and business functions.
Participate in finance transformation activities, including system enhancement projects.
Build and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams.
