Description : We are partnering with a leading machine builder and automation specialist based in Cavan, serving clients across the Medical Device, Food & Beverage, and Automotive sectors.

With a robust order book, extensive repeat business, and ambitious growth plans, this company is scaling with both purpose and success.

As part of their expansion, they are now seeking to appoint a Project Manager who will take full ownership of delivering bespoke automation and machine build projects.

This is a critical, client-facing role for an experienced Project Manager who has worked in a machine building / automation environment and who can bring strong commercial awareness, industry insight, and a proven track record of project delivery.

Work directly with clients to manage scope, timelines, quality, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Lead cross-functional teams, driving schedules, identifying risks, and implementing effective mitigation strategies.

Develop and maintain robust reporting and project management frameworks.

Act as a key brand ambassador, strengthening relationships with existing clients and spotting new market opportunities.

Collaborate with senior leadership on both project delivery and business development strategies.

The Person To be considered, you must bring : Proven experience in project management within machine building, automation, or special-purpose machinery.

Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to balance project delivery against client, budget, and business needs.

Knowledge of the Irish Food & Beverage, Automotive, and Medical Device sectors, ideally with a track record of projects in these markets.

Excellent stakeholder management skills, confident leading technical and commercial discussions with senior clients.

Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams with energy, ownership, and structure.

An existing network within automation or relevant sectors would be highly advantageous.
