Tax Manager – EMEA Tax Operations

We are looking for a highly talented and motivated Tax Manager to join our team in Dublin, Ireland or Schaffhausen, Switzerland, to support our EMEA Tax Lead.

Please note, this is a fully onsite in office based position.

Your Role :

Review of foreign entity tax provision submissions and serve as a resource for local market tax provision questions

Assisting with the return-to-provision reconciliation analysis in coordination with local market tax teams

Responsible for the EMEA compliance cycle which is outsourced to a service provider

Draft internal memos, analysis, and financial models.

Translating data from a range of sources into insights and deliverables.

Building effective long-term relationships with our business teams and external advisors.

Communicating complex tax issues to our business teams, tax auditors, and courts.

Interest in the technology automotive industry is a plus.

Your Background :

Minimum of 7 years of work experience, ideally 5-7 years’ experience in a professional advisory tax organization (Big 4 or law firm is a plus). Specifically experience in one or more of the following areas :

Tax Accounting

International Tax,

Transfer Pricing,

Tax Controversy matters, and / or

Operating Model Efficiency, Value Chain Transformation, or similar global supply chain structuring teams a plus.

Familiarity with US GAAP, IFRS, and statutory accounting standards a plus.

A degree in law, finance, business administration, economics, accounting or similar.

An ACCA or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Ability and interest in global travel and operating in a fast paced environment.

Candidates must be authorized to work in Ireland and Switzerland.

Demonstrated written and oral communication or presentation skill highly valued.

Familiarity and ability to use excel, ppt, and word required; SAP awareness positive.
