Design Manager - France, Lille - 12 Month Contract

Our client is currently seeking a Design Manager to join their team.

They develop and deliver life-changing medicines globally, and as part of their growth, their Drug Substance (DS) manufacturing network is expanding.

This is your opportunity to be involved in their portfolio of commercial biologics products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include :

Planning and Permitting management (collecting necessary documentation for construction permitting application)

Architecture, Exterior Envelope, and Interior design

Utility infrastructure / connection to external supply

Civils & Structural and Landscaping

Stormwater, drainage, and sewerage

Fire & Life systems (Build, Architectural finishes & installation), including fire compartmentalisation, fire curtains, escape routes, etc.

Security systems (Build, Architectural finishes & installation), such as gatehouse, turnstiles / speed gates, exterior fencing, etc.

Desirable Experience :

Master's degree in engineering

Proven experience in a design management role within the pharmaceutical industry

Strong portfolio of design projects, including digital and print materials

Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance

Leadership and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Fluent in French and English (reading, writing, speaking)

Project management certification (if possible)

French / Belgian Nationality preferred
