Design Manager

Elusav Recruitment have an amazing opportunity for a Design Manager with aleading water and wastewater solutions provider in Dublin. As the Design Manager you will be responsible for the management of the design process for water / wastewater design build projects. Responsibilities : Management of the design process for water / wastewater design build projects. Coordination of the design engineers across all disciplines of mechanical, electrical, ICA and civil. Ensuring that all disciplines of design are incorporated into the 3D model. Tracking, monitoring and reporting on design expenditure against budget. Ensuring that Designer duties are discharged in line with relevant regulations. Compilation of Weekly / monthly reports as dictated by the Project. Monitoring of design outputs against the design deliverable schedule. Confirming that all technical standards / specifications are being adhered to. Technical governance and sign off of designs. Preliminary design work to assist in tendering and estimating. Chair Design co-ordination meetings. Management of the change management process. Developing and updating the Design Management Plan. Producing design briefs, incorporating the requirements of all the project needs, including Mechanical, Electrical and Civil interface. Requirements : 10 years demonstrated Design Experience. Experience of managing multidiscipline engineering design teams. Experience of managing Multiple small projects or single larger projects in water / wastewater in UK or Ireland. Revit / BIM / AutoCAD design modelling software. Principal Designer / PSDP experience. Chartered Engineer preferred or working towards chartership.
