Hgv Rigid Truck Driver

HGV Rigid Truck Driverfor rear end loader truck (REL) on route collection work of waste and mixed dry recyclables from commercial customers in the Galway City & County Areas.

Reports to -The HGV Rigid Truck Driver will report to the Solid Waste Operations Manager.

About The Role What the job involves : Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

To resolve issues / queries effectively and to escalate to relevant departments where necessary.

To establish good working relationships with customers and coworkers.

Good time management and ability to work both on our own and as part of a team.

Collect and return customers' bins (along designated routes).

Ensuring all collections are made in a professional and timely fashion.

Conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle before departing.

Comply with Health and Safety policies.

Comply with road traffic legislation and RSA guidelines.

Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner.

Monday to Friday, Saturday work is required on rotation.

Licence / Certification : C Driving licence (required) C1 Driving licence (preferred) CPC (required) Safe Pass (preferred) Must have good level of written and spoken English.

Ability to commute / relocate : Oranmore, County Galway : reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred).
