Consultant Psychiatrist

Consultant Psychiatrist - General Adult Psychiatrist FRS Recruitment are pleased to be working in partnership with Ireland's Health Service Executive to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist to work in a General Adult Service.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will lead a team of Non- Consultant Hospital Doctors and work in collaboration with Nursing staff, social workers, occupational therapists, Psychologists, Counsellors and carers.

This role will report to the Clinical Director of Psychiatry for the region and in order to be eligible for consideration for this and other Consultant Psychiatrist roles, you will need : Specialist Registration with the Irish Medical Council or eligible for specialist registration (completed residency training in psychiatry) Experience working as a Consultant Psychiatrist in an acute adult service Excellent communication and interpersonal skills An excellent remuneration package will attract psychiatrists interested in considering this stunning Irish location including; Salary : €233,527 to €280,513 depending on experience 37 Hour Working Week Additional Payments for Overtime, On Call Travel and Subsistence Continuing Medical Education or Continuing Professional Development Payment €12,000 €8,000 funding annually for innovation projects or research (may be pooled with colleagues) Mobile Phone (provided or reimbursed) 30 days annual leave Family friendly leave and flexibility including paid maternity leave and parental leave.

Relocation package up to €4,710 to cover; flights, accommodation, IMC registration, work permit, visa, English language testing, shipping etc.
