A vibrant and close-knit team at a small animal practice in the heart of Mullingar is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join them.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN eager to be central to patient care and client education within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The Role : Position :

Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours : 40 hours per week

Weekend Shifts :

1 in 2 Saturdays (sometimes 1 in 3)

Out of Hours & On-Call Duties :

None

Salary :

€30,000-€35,000 commensurate with experience

Start Date : April 2025

What the Role Entails :

The successful candidate will assist Veterinary Surgeons in a busy small animal practice.

Responsibilities will range from conducting nurse consultations to managing a varied caseload and ensuring top-tier patient care.

This role is ideal for an experienced RVN who thrives in a challenging yet rewarding setting, managing diverse cases while prioritizing patient well-being.

Applicant Requirements :

Required :

Applicants must be registered with the Veterinary Council of Ireland to practice veterinary nursing.

Ideal Candidate :

A motivated and confident RVN who is a strong team player, possesses excellent communication skills, and places the highest priority on patient care.

Applications are also welcomed from new graduates, although some experience is preferred.
