Exciting opportunity with leading environmental consultancy flexible office locations in Ireland I am working with a highly respected (and confidential) Environmental Consultancy with offices in Dublin, Galway, and the flexibility to work from other locations across Ireland. This is a fantastic role for someone who is comfortable with EIARs and the methodology of carrying them out. Experience in renewable energy projects particularly wind and solar will be highly valued. Projects : Large-scale wind farm and solar energy projects (including offshore) Waste-to-energy and manufacturing developments Large-scale residential developments across Galway and Dublin Role : Work closely with the Environmental Team on a variety of EIAR and planning projects. Manage and oversee projects day-to-day, including fee agreements, invoicing, and meeting client expectations. Take full ownership of projects from inception to completion ensuring deadlines, quality, and profitability are achieved. Oversee and mentor junior team members and sub-consultants to deliver top-quality outputs. Report regularly to the Environmental Team Director and provide updates to clients. Play a role in business development by supporting proposals, spotting opportunities, and helping grow the teams work pipeline. Requirements : Honours Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years post-graduate experience in a consultancy environment. Strong experience with EIARs and a solid understanding of the methodology behind delivering them. A proven track record working on large-scale projects, ideally within renewables (wind / solar preferred). Excellent understanding of the Irish planning system. Broad technical knowledge across civil engineering, construction management, ecology, hydrology / hydrogeology, noise, air, traffic, geotechnical, and other EIAR subject areas.
