Food safety & quality officer

Job Title : Food Safety and Quality Officer Location : Salary : €35,000 - €40,000 Summary : We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Food Safety & Quality Officer to join our Client team in Clare.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that the company products meet all customer requirements and comply with the highest standards of food safety.

This is a perfect opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for food safety and quality assurance to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities : Oversee product quality, processes, food safety, and standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Identify and implement opportunities for quality improvement.

Complete quality-based inspections and audits, including preparing necessary documentation and coordinating responses.

Develop, update, and manage standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the company.

Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure adherence to food safety protocols.

Requirements : Knowledge of HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Strong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Proactive and practical approach to problem-solving.

Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
