Principle Embedded Software Engineer - Product Owner Software Development KitAnalog Devices is seeking aPrincipal Embedded Software Engineerto serve asProduct Owner for the Software Development Kit (SDK)supporting our advanced System-on-Chip (SoC) portfolio.In this strategic and cross-functional role, you will drive the roadmap, architecture, and delivery of ADI's CodeFusion Studio SDK—ensuring an exceptional developer experience and alignment with the company's silicon and embedded platform strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the strategic and technicalProduct Ownerfor ADI's SDK within the cross-platform CodeFusion Studio environment.Own and maintain theproduct roadmapfeature backlog, and release plans aligned with SoC platform lifecycles.Gather and synthesizerequirementsfrom internal stakeholders (silicon, tools, systems, business units) and external customers.Define and prioritizeSDK componentsincluding drivers, HALs, board support packages, middleware, and integration frameworks.Collaborate closely with embedded software engineering teams to ensureon-time, high-quality deliveryof SDK features.Interface withDevOpsCI / CD, andquality assuranceteams to support automation, validation, and long-term maintainability.Work with theSDK teamfield application engineersproduct marketing, andbusiness unitsto ensure the SDK meets diverse customer needs and use cases.Drivecustomer documentation, training materials, and ecosystem enablement in collaboration with UX and technical writers.Actively contribute toproduct strategy discussions, architectural decisions, and SDK evolution to support emerging compute platforms and tools.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.10+ yearsof embedded software development experience, with strong understanding of SoC architectures and SDK design principles.Proven track record inproduct ownership, technical leadership, or software product strategy roles.Strong understanding ofdevice driversRTOS / Linuxbare-metal development, andtoolchain integrationHands-on experience withGitCI / CD pipelinesissue tracking systems, and modernAgile / Scrum practicesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Clear, effective communication at varying levels of detail is critical to success in this role.
Strong customer focus and ability to translate technical feedback into actionable requirements.Preferred QualificationsBackground insystem-level debuggingcross-platform toolchains, orsoftware enablement for hardware IPsFamiliarity with SDKs and middleware from semiconductor vendors or embedded ecosystems like Zephyr, Yocto, CMSIS.Knowledge of embedded security software a plus, including familiarity with projects like Trusted Firmware-M, Trusted-Firmware-A, OP-TEE.Experience engaging with and contributing to open source communities upstream a strong plus.#LI-CO1
