Procurement Executive Location : Dublin 2 Job Type : Hybrid, Permanent Salary : €50-60k My client are seeking a Procurement Executive to join our Corporate Governance, Legal Services and Secretariat Department. Reporting to the Procurement Specialist, this role will play a key part in supporting managers across the organisation with the formal aspects of procurement while ensuring compliance with public procurement regulations and best practices. The Procurement Executive will work independently, applying their expertise to guide colleagues at all levels, helping to foster a compliant and effective procurement environment. Key Responsibilities Support staff in managing the full end-to-end procurement process, from specification to contract approval and award. Manage the full eTenders process, including creating and advertising tenders, contract award, and completion of required notices. Provide guidance on available procurement routes, including framework agreements, contract preparation, regulations, and key areas of risk. Advise on the use of standard procurement templates, evaluation criteria, procurement timelines, and related documentation. Support evaluation processes, including collation of scoring and commentary for notification / standstill letters. Maintain and update the tender / contract register. Assist in reviewing and updating procurement templates and guidance documents. Respond to procurement-related queries and provide expert advice. Support the Procurement Specialist with ad-hoc requests as required. Key Competencies Client-focused relationship building and networking. Strong negotiation and influencing skills. Requirements Minimum of 3+ years experience in public procurement operations, with procurement as a primary responsibility. Direct knowledge of the eTenders gov.ie platform and electronic tender management. A relevant qualification in public procurement (e.g. Professional Diploma in Public Procurement, IPA). Experience managing full end-to-end tender processes and applying public sector best practices. Third-level qualification (minimum Level 8 on the National Qualifications Framework). Ability to manage multiple procurements, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines under pressure. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Flexibility to travel and occasionally work outside normal office hours. A full driving licence is desirable.
