Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Conference and Events Sales Manager Events Executive will be responsible for maximizing the sales potential and achieving the Event and Wedding sales targets of hotel.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
To proactively generate meeting and events enquiries for the team.To work at promotional shows and stands to promote the hotelTo meet weekly KPI targets on sales appointments and promotional showsTo work with the proactive and reactive sales teams to deliver meetings and events budgeted revenue weekly / monthlyTo give input on activity and new ideas to generate revenue to the quarterly and annual sales and marketing planTo conduct site inspections on the property with potential clientsTo build and develop relationships with wedding couples and clientsTo negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue / profit potential while satisfying client needs.To close prospects as confirmed bookings and maximize all revenue potential by upselling in all revenue producing areas.Requirements :
1 - 2 years previous event sales or wedding coordinating experience in a hotel or venueExperience working with customersAn excellent command of the English languageExcellent organizational skillsPossess the ability to see an opportunity act on it to secure revenue for the Hotel.Strong selling and interpersonal skills.High level of creativity.Full driving license is essential
