Temporary Kitchen Assistant

Location: Techrete, Stephenstown Industrial Park, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin

Hours: 08:30 - 14:30 Monday to Friday

About the Role

Techrete is looking for a reliable and hardworking Temporary Kitchen Assistant to support our on-site canteen team at our Balbriggan facility.

The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day running of the canteen, helping with food preparation, service and maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation and serving meals.
• Support the canteen team during busy service periods.
• Clean kitchen equipment, work surfaces and dining areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure food preparation and storage areas are kept clean and organised.
• Assist with receiving and storing food and canteen supplies.
• Follow all food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
• Carry out other general canteen duties as required.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a busy kitchen/canteen environment.
• Friendly and professional when dealing with employees and colleagues.
• Conscious of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards.
• Previous experience in a kitchen, canteen, cafe or similar environment is desirable but not essential.
