The contractor has a strong pipeline of secured projects in Galway and the West of Ireland, offering long-term, local employment and excellent opportunities for career progression. The Role Working as part of an experienced project team, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of construction activities on site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities will include: Managing and coordinating subcontractors and site personnel Driving the construction programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved Maintaining the highest standards of health & safety Monitoring quality and ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications Coordinating closely with the Project Manager, Design Team and commercial team Managing site logistics, sequencing and day-to-day operations Identifying and resolving site issues to maintain programme Ensuring excellent standards of workmanship throughout the project Requirements The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience as a Site Manager with a main building contractor Experience delivering large-scale commercial, residential or similar building projects Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and site management Excellent subcontractor management and communication skills A strong focus on health & safety and quality Relevant construction qualification or trade background Package A market-leading salary and benefits package is available, reflecting the seniority and experience of the successful candidate.
