At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Sales person with experience in building products to join our client’s growing team based Co. Meath. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction and building materials industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. You will work closely with external sales teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless order fulfilment and contribute to overall business growth.
Your new role includes:

• Greet and assist customers in the showroom, providing expert guidance on bathroom and plumbing products.
• Manage incoming sales inquiries and provide timely, accurate information on building materials products.
• Cold calling customers with promotions, new products and business development.
• Process customer orders efficiently while ensuring order accuracy and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with external sales representatives to support and enhance customer relationships.
• Provide product knowledge and guidance to customers to assist them in making informed purchasing decisions.
• Maintain and update customer records and sales documentation in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure product availability and on-time delivery.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Support sales reporting and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for sales growth.

Experience you need:

• Proven experience in internal sales, preferably in the building materials or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of building materials products and industry standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office applications.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
