🔴 Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer — Civil Engineering & Building — Cork — Permanent
We're hiring on behalf of a long-established Munster contractor working across civil engineering, building, demolition and environmental projects for public and private clients, for a site appointment in Cork.
The role: The title follows the person. We're open to an experienced Project Manager, or to a Senior Project Engineer ready for the step up with an established site team behind them.
What you'll actually be doing:
- Leading site delivery — programme, quality, safety and cost
- Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Acting as day-to-day contact for the client and design team
- Controlling procurement, resource planning and budget
- Owning the technical and quality record through to handover
- Flagging programme and commercial risk early
What we need:
- Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- PM level: 5+ years' project management in construction or civils
- Snr Project Engineer level: 4+ years' site engineering and ready to step up
- Experience across public, civils, building or private/residential
- Irish contract forms — PWC, RIAI, FIDIC or NEC
- Safe Pass and CSCS
Nice to have:
- Demolition or environmental project experience
