We are now recruiting Social Care Worker for full and part time work Duties will include, but are not limited to: Maintain confidentiality in respect of children and young people at all times Support children and young people under 18 in all aspects of daily living Contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care plans in line with professional standards Develop and coordinate educational, vocational and recreational supports tailored to each young person's care plan Build and maintain links with schools, training providers, sports clubs and local services to enhance community participation Support young people to access and sustain education, training and employment pathways Deliver person-centred care to the highest professional standards Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, interventions and communications Work in line with CORU's Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics and relevant national standards Essential Requirements Registration with CORU on the Social Care Workers Register, or a submitted application currently under assessment A CORU-approved qualification in Social Care Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team Strong verbal and written communication skills A flexible and adaptable approach Full clean driving licence and access to own transport Demonstrated interest in developing educational, vocational and recreational opportunities for young people Knowledge of relevant national standards and safeguarding practice What We Offer Paid Garda vetting Continuous management and in-field support Continuous block hours Competitive salary package Applicants must be available for weekday and weekend work.
