Breakfast Cook

Ruby Mcs is a cafe providing breakfast, brunch and out of this world sweet treats all day, four days a week. We're searching for a passionate Cook to work 25 hours + between weekdays and weekends. It is a full filled high energy environment with families and kids being our target market. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team and become part of something special. Key elements of your role as Restaurant Cook: To provide friendly, courteous,and professional service at all times Adhere to and uphold all food safety and quality regulations. Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment Preparing ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) Cooking food in various utensils or grillers Checking food while cooking to stir or turn Ensuring great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served Keeping a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen Ensuring all food and other items are stored properly Checking quality of ingredients To be familiar with HACCP About you: You have 1 year + of experience in this position You love to wow guests with exceptional service You have excellent English language skills You are a real team player You are friendly and professional with children and adults About us: We want to build a team of enthusiastic, energetic, personable people who can provide the customer with a WOW experience when they frequent a restaurant.
