Timber Frame Compliance & EHS Officer Location: Arklow (with travel to project sites) Type: Full-Time, Permanent Are you from a carpentry or trades background and thinking about a move off the tools? Or maybe you're interested in transitioning into compliance or health & safety? This could be a solid next step in your career. Our client, a growing timber frame construction specialist, is looking for a Compliance & EHS Officer to join their team. You don’t need formal experience in this type of role—just a practical background, a good attitude, and a willingness to learn. Full training and support will be provided. What You’ll Be Doing: Carrying out on-site compliance and safety inspections Supporting the correct installation of timber frame elements and fixings Promoting safe work practices and ensuring compliance standards are met Travelling to project sites across the region Maintaining reports and logs of inspections and findings Collaborating with site teams and project managers Developing your skills through hands-on experience and mentoring What We’re Looking For: Background in carpentry, timber frame, or general construction trades Genuine interest in compliance and/or health & safety Practical mindset with attention to detail Ability to work independently and communicate clearly Full Irish driving licence (or working towards it) Organised, reliable, and keen to develop professionally What’s on Offer: Permanent, full-time role with strong training and development Competitive salary and benefits Career path into compliance and H&S roles Supportive team and varied project work Opportunity to bring your site knowledge into a new area of construction Interested?
