Cabra castle is Recruiting for a general maintenance person;

Main duties of General maintenance contractor Include:

Keep all work areas / back of house areas and equipment in a neat and orderly condition.
Carry out inspection on public areas on a daily basis in case of problems arising unexpectedly example light bulbs to be replaced, items broken.
Carry out maintenance and repairs to public areas, guestrooms and back of house areas.
Carry out consistent preventive maintenance programs on rooms e.g., painting /varnish touch ups, minor repairs and regularly updates records on files.
Work within time constraints set by the maintenance and house keeping managers in line with room availability ( guest check in /check out times) and room occupancy.
Work together with the front office manager and housekeeping department, and connect with the manager to discuss any aspect of operations which will involve the maintenance department.
Follow direction of maintenance manager / Accommodation manager to complete assigned tasks daily.
Assisting with works ref re-modelling and construction may be required.
Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and reduced immediately

Requirements for General Maintenance contractor position:

Demonstrated knowledge /work history in general building works,
Ability to undertake small carpentry, plumbing, structural repairs, painting works
Attention to detail (awareness of aesthetics) with focus on quality of work & clean finishes of works undertaken
Fluent Spoken & written English is essential
Ability to work Autonomously and as part of a team and to take instruction.
Good organisational & efficiency skills - ability to complete works to timescales
Own tools preferred
Full clean driving license
