Senior Commercial Manager - Energy

Job Description Our client, an influential energy business has an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded professional as it continues to expand its remit in Ireland. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will work closely with teams across finance, trading, regulation, business development, and operations to deliver sustainable growth and value. Responsibilities will include : Lead commercial initiatives to optimise revenue, efficiency, and performance. Manage commercial risk and support trading and hedging strategies. Deliver insightful financial and operational reporting to inform decision-making. Support investment evaluations, business development, and contract negotiations. Monitor regulatory and market developments, aligning strategy to maximise value. Foster cross-functional collaboration to deliver on strategic and operational goals. Requirements for this Role Degree (2 : 1 or higher) in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or similar. Professional qualification (accounting, engineering, etc) is desirable. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to turn data into insight. Proven experience in commercial evaluation, negotiation, and contract management. Excellent communication and project coordination skills. Experience in the energy sector or trading markets is an advantage.
