Senior Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor - Limerick

SSA is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-established Main Building Contractor for a permanent position based in Limerick. About the role: Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of major construction projects across the Munster region. You will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account, ensuring costs are controlled while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors. Your responsibilities will include: Full commercial management of construction projects Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts and monthly cost reports Procurement and management of subcontractor packages Managing valuations, variations and final accounts Identifying and mitigating commercial risks Liaising with clients, consultants and site management teams Mentoring junior members of the commercial team Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to programme About the company: Our client is a highly regarded Main Building Contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Ireland.
