Teamworx we are delighted to be working in partnership with our Award winning retailer. Our client prides itself on the high standard of quality butcher products sold in their stores and is seeking an experienced retail manager who is passionate about delivering good quality products to customers.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service managing a small team and working with high- quality cuts. While you dont need to be a qualified Butcher knowledge of prime cuts and an understanding of high quality produce is must be capable of displaying counters maintaining the records assisting customers with queries and must have a good ability to build rapport and upsell products within a customer-facing environment.

The ideal person for this Retail Manager job:

• Previous experience in a retail food deli or butcher environment is required
  
• Strong attention to detail
  
• Must have a strong work ethic and be able to work both on your own and within a team
  
• Strong knowledge of HACCP
  
• Flexible to work 5 days out of 7
  

• Passion for driving sales and revenue
  

Responsibilities for this Retail Job:

• Assist customers in selecting the right cuts of meat provide cooking advice and answer questions about the different types of meat.
  
• Follow proper hygiene practices ensure proper storage and handling of meat clean and sanitise equipment and work areas regularly and adhere to local health regulations
  
• May be responsible for weighing and pricing meat products as well as packaging them appropriately for display or sale
