Purpose of the post
To provide leadership management and direct input with regard to the delivery of a mental health social work service including therapy to children and adolescents (and their families) who present with moderate to severe mental health issues that require the input of a specialist multidisciplinary mental health team.
To provide liaison in respect of interagency working
To provide line management supervision and consultation to staff as required
The post holder will lead and be responsible for the effective delivery of a quality social work service for a defined functional area
To input into IHA Midlands projects directly related to the development reconfiguration improvement of mental health services
To work a part of the IHA Midlands Integrated Services Management Team.
