What we are looking for:

Previous experience in a similar role

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Exceptional customer service ethic

Attention to detail

Time management

Positive can do will do attitude

Ability to remain calm and professional during busy service periods

Experience using hotel (e.g. Opera Cloud, Tablepath, ResDiary) desirable

Flexibility in working hours

Responsibilities:

Welcome all guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner

Manage restaurant reservations using the hotel's booking system

Escort guests to their tables and ensure efficient table allocation

Monitor table availability and communicate effectively with the restaurant management team

Communicate with all relevant staff to ensure all guests needs are met

Manage waiting lists during busy service periods while keeping guests informed

Enhancing the guest experience at every opportunity

Assist with VIP arrivals, special occasions, and guest requests

Maintain a professional appearance at the restaurant entrance area

Work closely with the front office, concierge, and food & beverage teams to ensure seamless guest service

Handle guest feedback and escalate any concerns to the Restaurant Manager when appropriate
